The way to remember a person is very individual. Therefore, you can leave your thoughts and feelings, memories or words of respect and gratitude by writing an obituary.

In addition to the profile picture of your beloved person, as well as this person’s name, birthday or other details, you can also add a full biography, describe his or her hobbies, taste in music or other interests to keep this person’s memory alive. Also, you can upload pictures into the media portfolio. Connect the Memorial to other social media and integrate content such as videos!

You decide whether the Memorial you created is visible to the public or if it is only accessible to close family members and friends.

Initiate a community of honouring - invite your family members and friends to share their individual memories and feelings

Family members and friends find different ways of actively contributing to the Memorial. Sharing the Memorial with your family members and friends invites them to visit and send their greetings, leave a personal entry in the guest book for both the person who has passed away and the mourning community, or to add pictures, audio messages and videos. They can also share their feelings or leave an emotional statement by sending the honoured person virtual flowers or other symbols of recognition and sympathy.

The Memorial you are creating will not remain on its own. Within the Family Tree, you can connect to other Memorials on Let’emLive! based on their family relationships. That makes family relations visible, interactive and brings them alive virtually.

In the Family Tree, select the person you created the Memorial for. Add another Memorial that already exists on Let’emLive! and define the familial relationship. An inquiry will then automatically be sent to the Memorial holder to confirm the relationship. The more connections, the bigger the Tree!

Share the burden of loss and receive contributions

To lose a beloved person is always a burden. It creates a gap. Let’emLive! is not only designated to share sympathies and the best memories and but also to share the burden of loss.

Every user visiting the Memorial can share in and offer hope. He or she can support you by a financial contribution on the Memorial created by you. The individual contribution will be shown on the Memorial page.
